WESTVILLE — Kenneth Rudd, 78, of Westville, passed away at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born June 13, 1935, in Catlin, the son of Pearl Webster.
Survivors include three sons, Danny (Ann) Rudd of Westville, Curtis Rudd of Westville and Barry (JoAnn) Rudd of Deltona, Fla.: two daughters, Melinda (Jeff) Nagrodski of Westville and Dana (Bob Anderson) Howe of Westville: one brother, Ronald Wayne Rudd of Danville: one sister, Jean Turner of Danville: seven grandchildren, Kami (Josh), Matt (Somer), Staci, Stefani, Erin (Harry), Jake and Ashley: and six great-grandchildren, Makenzi, Karsin, Jack, Diezil, Phoenix and Makenna. He was preceded in death by his mother, three brothers and five sisters.
Kenneth had worked for Davies Meat Packing, Bullock Garage and was a self-employed carpenter. He loved going to Westville High School football games and was a huge Tigers fan. He enjoyed attending his grandkids’ and great-grandkids’ functions.
Services: noon Saturday, Dec. 7, at Robison Chapel in Catlin, with Darren Johnson officiating. Burial to follow at Parish Cemetery in Grape Creek. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at Robison Chapel. On-line condolences at www.robisonchapel.com.
