Darlene “Squeak” Marie Yoho, 51, of Georgetown, passed away at 9:16 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
She was born Dec. 16, 1961, in Danville, the daughter of Warren H. and Maridell (Alden) Yoho.
She was preceded in death by her father; her son, Brandon; and two brothers, Glen Yoho and Larry Yoho.
She is survived by her mother, Maridell Yoho of Georgetown; her son, Joshua Yoho of Georgetown; her brother, Zeke (Brenda) Yoho of Georgetown; sisters, Cindy (Duane) Cunningham of Bloomfield, Ind., Donalee Baker of Kokomo, Ind., and Nanci (Doug) Blaase of St. Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.
Darlene had previously worked at Envirox. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. She loved all animals. She really enjoyed being with her family and friends and was happiest when she made people laugh. Darlene was known to always think of other people first.
A celebration of Darlene’s life will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Forest Park Cemetery.
