Larry Everett Weston

WEST LEBANON, Ind. — Larry Everett Weston, 72, of West Lebanon, passed away at 7:50 a.m. EDT Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after battling cancer the past seven months.

Larry was born in Antioch, Ill., on Dec. 30, 1940. He was the son of Everett Ivan and Adeline “Addie” Alice (Jones) Weston.

He was a 1958 graduate of Williamsport High School. He was a lifelong resident of Warren County.

On May 27, 1962, he married Carolyn Jean Williams. She survives.

Larry was a farmer and was a past DeKalb Seed salesman. He was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church. He was a past Warren County councilman and had served on the Warren County Fair Board, Farm Bureau Co-op Board and Soil Conservation Board. He was a 50 year member of the F&AM Lodge 352 West Lebanon.

Farming and cattle were his passion and his family and grandchildren were his life.

Surviving with his wife, are his mother, Addie Weston of Williamsport, Ind.; three children, Bob Weston (Jodie) of West Lebanon, Becky Peer (Paul) of Winthrop, Ind., and Bill Weston (Darcey) of Marshfield, Ind.; two brothers, Don Weston (Jackie) of Williamsport, and Tom Weston (Sue) of Marshfield,; eight grandchildren, Andy Weston (Jamie), Nicholas Weston (Veronica), Katie May, Markus May, Justin Peer, Carlee Capps, Kiefer Capps and Jack Weston; three step-grandchildren, Kimberly Peer, Paul Bradley Peer and Brittany Peer; a great-grandchild, Brayden Weston; and three step-great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Oct. 9, at West Lebanon Christian Church with Masonic services at 8 p.m. Services will begin there at 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, Oct. 10, with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.gradyfuneralhome.com.
