When the kids were little, she made wedding cakes from her home. She fed scores of farmers at harvest, and mastered wild game recipes for many a hunter.

For a number of years, Marilyn was associated with Richard Haenel Realty and George Weller & Associates Realty. She was named “Realtor of the Year” in 1990, and was a multiple winner of the “Million Dollar Round Table.” Marilyn worked with her husband, Carl Busby (Busby Land & Auction), conducting on-site auctions for more than 40 years, as well as being a nationally known doll expert.
