Connie Ralph, 73, of Georgetown, passed away at 6:10 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at her home.
She was born May 28, 1940, in Danville, the daughter of Arnett and Eileen Brooks} Dixon, both deceased.
She is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Chad) Pridemore of Indianola, Karla (Sherri) Wolfe of Danville and Amy (Robert) Fillers of Indianola; her grandchildren, Kala Fillers, Latasha (Frankie) Stanis, Nevan Grant, Shelbi Jacobsen, Emma Brown and Carson Brown; and her great-grandchildren, Aalaina and Aadyn Stanis. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Bonnie McBride and Shirley Ann Dixon.
Connie worked as a waitress for MainStream Restaurant for many years. She also worked at American Legion Dornblaser Post 203. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a pro wrestling fan. Westerns with John Wayne were her favorite to watch on TV. She was known to make the best tacos.
Connie treasured her family, especially her grandchildren.
A celebration of Connie’s life will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Georgetown.
