OAKWOOD — Jacquelyn Dawes, 60, of Oakwood, passed away at 5:29 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Jacquelyn was born Sept. 20, 1952, in Paris to Jack and Dorothy Williams Akers.
She married James Dawes in Danville. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1995.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher Dawes of Oakwood and James (Traci) Dawes of Danville; one brother, Charles (Teresa) Akers of San Antonio, Texas; and one granddaughter, Madison Dawes.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jacquelyn graduated from Danville High School in 1970. She was an avid collector.
