INDIANAPOLIS — Richard Armond Spriggs II, 65, passed away on Monday morning, March 24, 2014, in Atlanta, Ga.
Richard was born in Chicago to late Richard A. and C. Maxine (Jessup) Spriggs of Hoopeston.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Glenda Spriggs of Roswell, Ga.; children, Tina (Bill) Bogart, Richard (Annette) Spriggs III of North Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Hannah, Heather, Kaiden, Kristian, Jesse and Taylor; sister, Carol Armstrong (Garry Manes) of Matteson; nieces and nephews, Phillip Massenburg and Angel Clifton of Chicago, Sheldon Hamilton, Corey Hamilton and Kendsey Baker of Morgantown, Ind.
He was preceded in death by grandson Dustin Dunn.
Richard was retired from Arvin Industries and most recently Unipro Food Service as vice president of logistics. He contributed his time as a young adult to both the Masons and Jaycees.
A celebration of life will be led by Brother Darrel Miller at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Crown Hill Chapel, located at 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis. Family will be receiving visitors from 2-3 p.m.
