PARIS — Mary Louise Black, age 92, of Paris, Ill., passed away at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, in Paris Community Hospital.
She was a bookkeeper for Ralph Callaway and a member of Bell Ridge Christian Church.
Born April 24, 1921, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late James N. and Susan C. (Barr) Harris. She first married Fred K. Todd. After his passing, she married Cecil Hancock. After Mr. Hancock’s passing, she married Francis Black, and he also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Todd of Danville; her son, Stephen Spencer of Paris; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Rhonda Brownback of Paris.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and a daughter, Sally Baugh.
The family wishes to express their thanks to her granddaughters, Kathy Fyfe and Jody Rose.
Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Burial of the cremains will be held at a later date in Edgar Cemetery.
