Audrey N. Fox, 80, Danville, formerly of Buckley, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, after a lengthy illness.
She was married to Harry Ronald Fox in October 1949. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2012.
Surviving are four children, Deborah (Bruce) Spivey in North Carolina, Rebecca (Greg) Luecke in Wisconsin, Randall Fox in Illinois, and Vicky (Bobby) Jorgenson in North Carolina. There were four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Also, surviving are her sisters, Nadine (Elroy) Schumacher in Illinois, Evelyn (Martin) Gall of South Dakota, Wanda (Gordon) McCagg in New Mexico, and Dolores (Howard) Ooteen of Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Frances Koschnick and Winona Weber; and brother-in-law, James Fox.
Audrey was a nurse at the former St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, an achievement she accomplished after raising her four children. She was a wonderful mom and homemaker. She loved helping others and spending time with her kids, which included her poodles.
She was an excellent seamstress and was very creative. She will always be remembered for her sayings and her positive influence. Her faith in God was an inspiration to many, especially her family. Although she had many, one of her favorite Bible readings was Psalm 23.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
Graveside services will be held at the Buckley Cemetery, Buckley, at a later date.
