HOOPESTON — Pamela McFann Morgeson, 54, of Hoopeston, passed away at 1:42 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at her home in Hoopeston.
She was born Sept. 24, 1959, in Danville, the daughter of Lloyd William and Irene (Frankum) McFann.
She married Danny Lee Morgeson on March 8, 1997, in Hoopeston. He survives in Hoopeston.
Also surviving is one daughter, Cortney Hopkins, of Hoopeston; one sister, Tanya (Robert) Range, of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Michael Lee McFann, of Palm Springs, Calif., and Jodie Lynn, of Palm Springs, Calif.; one grandson, Gage Hopkins; and two nephews, Lonn and Nathan Trail, of Denver, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and one brother, Lonn Lynn.
Pam worked as a certified nurse’s assistant for the past 12 years. She served two terms as junior vice president of the ladies auxiliary at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, where she also volunteered at several events that were held to honor veterans. Pam enjoyed shopping, traveling, decorating for the holidays, watching paranormal television shows and spending time in the swimming pool. She also loved her dogs and horses and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
A visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at Anderson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Neil Larimore officiating. Per her wishes, following the funeral service, she will be cremated. A burial will be held at a later time.
