DANVILLE — Shirley A. Walsh, 84, of Danville, passed away at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.
Shirley was born March 26, 1929, in Decatur to Frank and Emma Deeken Kingery.
She married Richard W. Walsh in 1959. He survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Frank E. (Joyce) Kingery of California and James J. (Sue) Kingery of California; one sister, Gretchen Bott of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Dean Kingery and John Robert Kingery.
Shirley was a Bell Telephone operator for 40 years. She was a member of the Faith Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed traveling and shopping. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneer Club.
