---- — Patricia Ann (Lewis) Zackery passed this life at 11:28 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Patricia (Lewis) Zackery, 60, was born Dec. 8, 1953, in Earle, Ark., to the union of Ivery Lewis and Rose Lee Baker Lewis.

She graduated from Central High School in Parkin, Ark., and attended the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff, Ark. She worked on the family farm. She moved to Cleveland and later relocated to Danville. She worked for the school district as a bus driver and was there for many kids and their families for years.

She has one child, Ivery L. Lewis, who is married to Jamie Lewis, both of Los Angeles, Calif.

Patricia was an active member of St. James Freewill Baptist Church, sang in the senior choir and held office on the usher board. She worked faithfully until her health began to fail. She was a member of Laura Lee Fellowship. Her hobbies were reading her Bible, listening to music, gardening and working on her house.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her son, Ivery L. Lewis and wife, Jamie Lewis, of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister-in-law, Jerry Rutha Lewis; two stepbrothers, Herbert Featherstone of California and Lynn Breckenridge of Ark.; three half-sisters, Charlotte Jeffrey of Texas, Linda Reed and Barbara Harris, both of Arkansas; four stepsisters, Corine Williams of Arkansas, Gloria Dean Howard of California, Sharon Landers of Michigan and Gwendolyn Lewis of Arkansas; mother-in-law, Mary B. Lewis of Arkansas; six nephews, Granell and Timothy Mitchell of Ohio, Edward Lewis, Trevor Lewis and Denzel Lewis, all of Illinois, Frederick and wife, Brandi, Lewis of Indiana; five nieces, Henrietta and husband, Timothy Wise, of Illinois, Yvette and husband, Kofi Arthur, of Georgia, Demitrius Smith and Stephanie Smith of Illinois, Samantha Smith of Indiana; grandchildren, Ivery L. Lewis Jr and Brianna N. Lewis of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fred Lee Lewis; two sisters, Maxine Mitchell and Mary Lewis; and special aunt, Louise Lewis.

A celebration of life will commence at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Ave., Danville. A wake will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St., Danville. The family is scheduled to be present. Officiating: Bishop King James Underwood, senior pastor, New Free Will Baptist Church, Urbana. Interment: Spring Hill Cemetery.
