KINGMAN, Ind. —
Carolyn G. Flint, 77, of Kingman, passed away at 9 a.m. EDT Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Flint was born June 24, 1935, in Kingman, Ind., the daughter of Veron C. and Pauline M. Allen.
She married Warren G. Flint on Nov. 2, 1958, at Centennial Church near Kingman.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Surviving family include a son, Joseph E. (wife, Aurora Ramierez) Flint, San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Charlotte Flint, Kingman, Ind.; a brother, James B. (wife, Joann) Allen, Colorado; a granddaughter, Lesslie L. Munoz; and a nephew, David Ison (wife, Stephanie) Allen, Austin, Texas.
Carolyn graduated from Kingman High School in 1953 and St. Elizabeth Nursing College in 1958 at Danville. She also had attended the Incarnate Word University and San Antonio College nursing programs. Throughout her life she had been employed as a registered nurse at the St. Elizabeth, Lakeview and VA hospitals, all in Danville; and also at the Texas State Hospital.
She had lived various places during her life and had always been a faithful member of God’s Church in Danville, Arizona, Texas and Indiana. She was a lifetime member of Fountain County Historical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and loved to collect and research genealogy.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. EDT Friday, April 19, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg, with Pastor Dan Matthews officiating. Visitation will begin at noon EDT Friday and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow service at Centennial Cemetery near Kingman, Ind.
