BETTY SUE JENKINS
WESTVILLE —
WESTVILLE — Betty Sue Jenkins, 75, of Westville, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at her home.
She was born May 25, 1934, in Jonesboro, Ga., to Howard and Sallie Mayfield Hamilton. She married Laverne “Penny” Jenkins in Westville. He survives, as well as: one son, Floyd Terry Snider of Triangle, Va.; a brother, John T. (Jean) Hamilton of Georgia; a grandson, Eric Alborg of Texas; a special friend, Arlene “Billie” Hutchison; her dear hospice nurse, Jackie Long; and several nieces and newphews. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Floyd William Snider; a daughter, Linda Larnerd; and a sister, Marie Bradley.
Betty had been a security guard with Allied Barton Security, working both at Bunge in Danville and Bohn Aluminum. Betty enjoyed flowers and will be remembered for her beautiful yard.
Her greatest attribute was always being able to remember your name whenever she met you.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Robison Chapel. Memorials to Carle Hospice in her memory. E-mail condolences to www.RobisonChapel.com.
