Esther “Doris” Conover

— Esther “Doris” Conover, 90, born Aug. 20, 1917, in Collison, Ill., passed away May 8, 2008 in Lansing, Mich. Doris was a member of the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She loved spending time with her family and was very devoted to her church. She is survived by her son, John (Karen) Conover of Davison and daughter, Judy (Allan) Sanders of Grand Ledge; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Her husband of 46 years, Robert, and one brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. EDT Monday, May 12, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church, 411 Harrison St. in Grand Ledge.
