Patricia B. Cary

— Patricia B. Cary, 79, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Danville, passed away at 6 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center, Fort Myers.
She was born July 10, 1928, in Danville, Ill., the oldest daughter of Raymond and Dora (Slater) Gregorie. Patricia married Ralph B. Cary on Sept. 17, 1955, in Danville. He preceded her in death July 31, 2004.
She is survived by her five daughters, Penelope (Tim) Sherlock of Fort Wayne, Ind., Beth Cary of Fort Myers, Fla., Bridget (Jeff) Baugh of Bloomington, Ind., Amanda Cary and Kelly Cary (Rick DuJardin), both of Fort Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren, Emily Baugh, Courtney Baugh, William Sherlock, Carli Cary and David Cary; and one brother, Robert (Patricia) Gregorie, of Fort Walton, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Raymond Gregorie, and one sister, Judy (Gregorie) Lutchka.
Patricia attended St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., where she received a degree in music.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia B. Cary will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Danville with Father Greg Nelson as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
