Dorothy 'Dot' Richards

Dorothy “Dot” Richards, 68, of Danville, went home to be with the Lord at 6:27 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 8 at Pape Memorial Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville, IL 61832. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9 at Pape’s with Pastor Keith Klossner officiating.

Dorothy was born June 29, 1939, in Danville, to Louis and Dorothy Fair Hall. She married Larry Dean Richards on Aug. 5, 1967, in Catlin. He survives. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters: Julie Richards, Laurie (Darrin) Allen, Monica Hall and Jill (Gary) Jones; two sons: John (Debra) Richards and Larry (Stephanie) Richards; 10 grandchildren: Nicole (Jarvis) Brown, James Jones, Audrey Allen, Tyler Lappin, Bailee Richards, Paige Richards, Samantha Richards, John Richards, Kayden Hall and KC Hall; and one sister: Doris (Bob) White.
