DANVILLE – The Danville Public Library is making space available for the Danville Library Foundation to offer even more books for sale year-round.
The Little Nook Bookstore will be located adjacent to the stairwell leading to the second floor of the library at 319 N. Vermilion St.
The Little Nook Bookstore features the best of the donated books at bargain prices. It offers gently used fiction and non-fiction books, including children’s books, biographies, best sellers, cookbooks, romance and science fiction titles just to name a few.
Bookstore hours are within the normal business hours of the library, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday. The library is closed Sundays and certain holidays.
Proceeds of the bookstore help fund programs and activities at the library and provide a low-cost option to decrease the impact of local retail bookstore closures.
The Danville Library Foundation has helped support the library for more than two decades. Since 2004, the foundation has contributed more than $800,000 to support and enhance library services. This support includes renovations, programming support, collection development, technology upgrades and more.
