Program features tales of the Silk Road

DANVILLE — Silk Road historian Dr. John Flattery will take the audience on a journey “On the Road to Samarkand” on Monday for the fourth in an annual series of programs relating to the Silk Roads.

The free program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the first floor meeting room. Flattery will introduce Qin Shi Huangdi and the 8,000 terra cotta sculptures he commissioned to guard his tomb and more.
