The Vermilion County Conservation District plans its annual Holiday Open House 2–6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, in the Bunker Hill Historic Area located in Kennekuk County Park.
All Bunker Hill Area historic buildings will be open and decorated for the holidays. Admission is free.
Conservation district staff members invite the public to visit and celebrate the holiday season with the sights, sounds, and smells of a simpler time in the Bunker Hill Historic Area.
The annual Holiday Lights will start at dusk, 5 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, and are lit only on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. The exceptions will be Dec. 24-25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
