North Vermillion school board awards bus bids

CAYUGA, Ind. — The North Vermillion School Board awarded bus contracts for the next four years beginning in August.

Awarded contacts were: Route 3, Darrell Morgan, $217 per day; Route 4, Lisa Morgan, $212 per day; Route 5, Tim Spicer, $200 per day; Route 6, Diana Mack, $215 per day; Route 7, Luann Ping, $215 per day; Route 8, Carol Dilts, $214 per day; Route 9, Richard and Patti Crist, $217 per day; Route 10, Tim Spicer, $203.50 per day; and Route 11, Cheryl Bridge, $210 per day.

In other business, board members:

Reorganized for the year and elected Larry Bemis, president; David Bailey, vice president; and Mark Swingle, secretary.

Accepted Brent Morgan’s bid of $166,.50 per acres for the 15.72 acres of rental farm ground.
