FFA collects toys for kids

GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown-Ridge Farm FFA chapter is hosting a “Christmas For Kids” program, which will allow families who can’t afford some things for Christmas to have the chance to open gifts.

The chapter will accept donations of hats, scarves, gloves, socks, educational games, school supplies and bathroom hygiene items. No electronics Toys will be purchased through donations by the FFA chapter only. To those would like to make a donation for toys, the chapter will use the money to purchase age-specific toys.

People may call the Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School office at 662-6716 if they are in need or if they know of someone else who may benefit from the program.
