DANVILLE

LEIGH, Imogene, 75, of Danville, died at 3:04 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8,2013, at North Logan Health Care Center in Danville. She loved to play poker and was a doll collector. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Spring Hill Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home, Danville, is assisting the family.

MCGINNIS, Veotrice, 86, of Danville, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Paxton. She was a long-time member of Second Church of Christ in Danville, and had been employed by Dr. McCann in Hoopeston and worked at the VA hospital. Services 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Sunset Funeral Home, Danville. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial: Sunset Memorial Park.

GERALDTON, Australia

MOORE, Harold Lee, 78, of Geraldton, Western Australia, and formerly of rural Hoopeston, died Oct. 7, 2013, in Geraldton. He served in the military, retired from NASA-Apollo affiliated Philco Corp., and then moved to Australia in 1980. Mid West Funerals, Geraldton, Western Australia, Australia, performed the service.

OAKWOOD

SEVENER, Patsy D., 74, of Oakwood and Saint Petersburg, Fla., died at 10:42 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at the home of her daughter. She worked for General Electric and General Motors. Per Patsy’s wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service and burial of cremains will be at a later date. Robison Chapel, Catlin, is assisting the family.

POTOMAC

WERNIGK, Charles “Gene” E., 81, of Potomac, died at 6:08 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at his home. He was Middlefork Township Road Commissioner for 16 years, until he retired in 2002, and served on the Bluegrass Fire Department for 25 years. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Wolfe-Blurton Funeral Home in Potomac. Burial: Partlow Cemetery. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

RANKIN

HOFBAUER, Doris Marie, 89, of Rankin, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Heritage Health in Hoopeston. She was the librarian in Rankin for many years. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Grace Lutheran Church in Rankin. Burial: Rankin Union Cemetery. Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, at Knapp Funeral Home in Rankin and for a half-hour prior to the service at the church.
