Domestic battery in the 900 block of North Jackson Street.

Property damage in the 3000 block of Golf Circle.

Property damage in the 300 block of North Franklin Street.

Burglary in the first block of Fairweight Avenue.

Thursday:

Burglary in the 1100 block of North Walnut Street.

Theft of fuel at Mobil Super Pantry, 1212 N. Bowman Ave.

Domestic battery in the 1000 block of West Williams Street.

Burglary and property damage in the 1000 block of Skyline Drive.

Property damage in the first block of South Griffin Street.

Vermilion County

Wednesday:

Theft along County Road 400N, Ridge Farm.

Thursday:

Theft in the 100 block of Spelter.

Domestic battery in the 200 block of Walnut Street, Westville.

Deceptive practice along County Road 3550N, Rossville.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 600 block of Brentwood Street, Tilton.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 10:14 a.m. — At Gilbert and Williams streets involving Emma Spicer, 20, of Georgetown, and Donniah Sivanesan, 69, of the first block of Thornhill Drive. Spicer was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Sivanesan was cited for driving without insurance.

  • Police investigate shooting report

    DANVILLE — City police investigated reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of Moore Street about 6:30 p.m.

    Preliminary reports had as many as three people with gunshot wounds. Ambulances were called to assist two of the people with wounds to the leg and one with a chest wound.

    The investigation continued Friday evening.
