FITHIAN — A new small-town restaurant and bar is now open in Fithian.
The Roost, 109 N. Main St., Fithian, offers food and beverages during weeknights and on the weekends.
The Roost has a simple American-style menu at affordable pricing. The menu is geared toward family dining and to those wanting a good and simple meal, according to owner Stacey Bennett.
Half-pound hamburgers, chicken wings and the signature Roost Burger is offered regularly during the dining hours. Specials such as fried fish are served on the weekend. Sunday brunch features biscuits and gravy, chicken tacos or Jambalaya.
Fithian is located off of U.S. 150, east of Champaign County, west of Oakwood. Fithian is located about three miles south of Exit 200 off of Interstate 74.
Owner Stacey Bennett brings more than five years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
“This is a nice location for those wanting to stop and get something to eat after work or on the weekends when people are out,” Bennett said.
Take-out meals are available.
Hours of operation for the bar are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Friday bar hours are 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday hours are 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dining hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday; and Sunday brunch is 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
