DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Incidents reported to police include:



Battery at Vermilion and Woodbury streets.


Burglary in the 600 block of West Williams Street.

Deceptive practices in the 800 block of Harmon.

Theft in the 900 block of Campbell.

Retail theft at County Market, 2 E. Main St.; a woman was arrested.

Burglary/criminal damage in the 100 block of Fairweight.

Disorderly conduct in the 100 block of Ohio Street.

Vermilion County


Criminal damage to property in the 9000 block East of 2250 North Road.

Burglary in the 3500 block of Artesan, Potomac.


Theft in the 700 block of Mill, Georgetown.

Domestic battery in the 200 block of East 13th Street, Georgetown.

Theft in the 3600 block of North Vermilion Street, Danville.

Domestic dispute in the 7800 block of Walnut, East Lynn.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Saturday, 12:33 a.m. — Vehicle went off road and hit railroad tracks in the 600 block of East Williams St.; Orlando K. Perkins Jr., 24, of the 1200 block of Grant was cited for failure to report an accident.

Saturday, 7:12 p.m. — Two-car collision in the 3000 block of Georgetown Road involving Amber Cohoon, 32, of Georgetown and Melissa Johnson, 61, of Danville. Cohoon was cited for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
