Domestic battery in the 900 block of Wakley Drive.

Theft in the 900 block of Redden Court.

Retail theft at Dollar General, 100 N. Griffin St.


Possession of drug paraphernalia at Indiana Avenue and Cannon Street.

Property damage in the 1600 block of Beechwood Street.

Trespassing and property damage in the 900 block of Moore Street.

Identity theft in the 200 block of South State Street.

Attempted deceptive practice in the 1600 block of Grant Street.

Theft of a firearm in the 1000 block of North Grant Street.

Property damage in the 500 block of Townsend Street.

Domestic battery in the 100 block of Pine Street.

Theft in the 900 block of Chandler Street.

Aggravated battery in the first block of South Buchanan Street.

Deceptive practice in the 400 block of Harmon Street.

Retail theft at County Market, 2 E. Main St.


Possession of cannabis at Bowman Avenue and Wayne Street.

Home repair fraud reported in the 1000 block of Texas Avenue.

Trespassing reported at Fair Oaks Housing Complex, 1607 Clyman Lane.

Aggravated battery at Seventh and Park streets, Georgetown.


A man arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing at the Black Bear Inn, 1902 W. Williams St.

Burglary in the 300 block of North Gray Street, Sidell.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Friday, 8:15 a.m. — At North Gilbert and Fairchild streets involving Richard Kopitas, 55, of Creston, and Sharon Walker, 72, of Georgetown. Kopitas was cited for making an improper turn.

Friday, 11 a.m. — At 319 N. Vermilion St. involving John Bode, 61, of Champaign. He was cited for failure to report an accident and failure to give information following an accident.

Sunday, 2:28 p.m. — At Seminary and Kimber streets involving Bethany Casey, 31, of the first block of Beard Street, and Juanita Smalls, 65, of the 600 block of Plum Street. Casey was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Smalls was cited for driving with expired registration.
