- A Danville pedestrian access plan. Schnelle said data collection is underway, with persons on bicycles going around the city and putting levels on sidewalks and looking at ramps and handicapped-accessibility, etc.
- Phase 2 of Bowman Avenue improvements. The project is from Winter Avenue to Crestview and is expected to cost $2.5 million.
DATS funding of about $1.7 million will be earmarked during three years for the project, from 2014 to 2017. The remaining funding will be local funding.
The project will include reconstruction of the roadway, curb and gutters, a bus turnout and shared-use path connection between Winter Avenue and Voorhees.
