DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:



Two bicycles stolen in the 1300 block of West Williams Street.


A man arrested for obstructing justice at Cannon and Minnesota streets.

Aggravated discharge of a firearm at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, 812 N. Logan Ave.

Disorderly conduct in the 2400 block of North Vermilion Street.

Burglary in the 600 block of Jewell Street.

Three trees stolen in the first block of Michigan Avenue.

A man arrested for theft in the 300 block of North Alexander Street.

A man arrested for criminal trespassing in the 600 block of South Bowman Avenue.

Burglary in the 1200 block of North Franklin Street.

Battery at Jewell and Williams streets.

A woman arrested for domestic battery at North and Pine streets.

Deceptive practice reported at First Illinois Credit Union, 323 N. Gilbert St.

Vehicle invasion and aggravated assault reported at Gilbert and Seminary streets.

Criminal damage to property in the 15900 block of Second Street, Westville.


A woman arrested for battery in the 100 block of West West Street, Georgetown.

Retail theft in the 500 block of North Main Street, Georgetown.

Domestic dispute in the 400 block of East 14th Street.

A woman arrested for criminal trespassing in the 1800 block of Perrysville Road.

Theft in the 300 block of East 14th Street.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 11:55 a.m. In the 800 block of East Voorhees Street involving Robert Sabo, 27, of the 1100 block of North Franklin Street; Danielle Wade, 26, of Westville; and Sharon Fretty, 76, of Danville. Sabo was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Wednesday, 10:24-10:42 a.m.A carbon monoxide call at 1415 Grant St.

Wednesday, 12:40-12:55 p.m. A medical call in the 100 block of Bloxsom Drive.

Wednesday, 1:13-1:21 p.m.A medical call in the 500 block of West Madison Street.

Wednesday, 9:33-9:42 p.m. A medical call in the 900 block of North Vermilion Street.

Wednesday, 9:26-9:49 p.m. A false alarm at the Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care Center, 1900 E. Main St.
