School registration to begin

BISMARCK — Bismarck-Henning School District offices will be open from 8 a.m. to noon July 31 and Aug. 1 and from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 to accept registration fees and to register new students.

A child must be 5 years old by Sept. 1 to enter kindergarten. All kindergarten students must have a current physical, eye exam and dental exam before they start school. Any necessary high school schedule changes should be made during this time.

There will be a freshman orientation at 6 p.m. Aug. 8 in the junior high/high school cafeteria.

Material fees: grades kindergarten through eight: $55; grades nine through 12: $60. The Driver Education fee will be $100 per student. Applications for waiver of materials fees for those who qualify are available in each office.
