DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:



Deceptive practice reported in the 1100 block of North Logan Avenue.


Vehicle burglary at Winter Park, 900 E. Winter Ave.


Disorderly conduct in the 700 block of Bryan Avenue.

Theft in the 500 block of North Logan Avenue.

A man arrested for obstructing justice in the 800 block of Griffin Street.

A man arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon in the 1000 block of Moore Street.

Theft and trespassing in the 400 block of South Buchanan Street.

Domestic battery in the 900 block of Campbell Lane.


A man arrested for criminal trespassing to state property in the 900 block of Lewis Lane.

Vermilion County


Vehicle damage reported in the 200 block of Southwest Street, Fairmount.


Disorderly conduct in the 200 block of South Dixon Street, Rankin.

Domestic battery in the 700 block of South Fourth Street, Hoopeston.

Theft along County Road 200E, Fithian.

Forgery in the 200 block of Adams Street, Westville.

Burglary in the 200 block of Bridgett Street, Westville.

Theft in the 200 block of East Fifth Street, Tilton.


A woman arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 100 block of West West Street, Georgetown.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Friday, 7:44 p.m.On U.S. Route 150 near Avenue G involving Lisa Barnette, 27, of the 100 block of West 13th Street. She was cited for no valid registration and driving without insurance. She and a passenger were taken to Presence United Samaritans Medical Center for treatment.

Saturday., 2:05 p.m.At the entrance to Kennekuk County Park, 22296 Henning Road, involving Mary Sorenson, 68, of Hoopeston, and Rickey Varvel, 60, of the 600 block of Warrington Avenue. Sorenson was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Varvel was cited for driving without insurance. Varvel was airlifted to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana for treatment.
