Shakespeare in the Park returns to Twin Lakes Park in Paris with a free performance of Shakespeare’s final comedy “The Tempest” at 6 p.m. Saturday. Using an underscore of sea chanteys, actors with Stone Soup Shakespeare will portray a motley crew of shipwrecked characters lost on an island.
People are asked to bring a lawn chair and nonperishable food items to be donated to the local Compassionate Food Ministry.
Alasdair Hunter will join Stone Soup Shakespeare from Glasgow, Scotland, to direct the production.
