No one was injured after two men pulled a gun on a pizza delivery driver New Year’s Eve Day.
Danville Police Assistant Director Doug Miller said a driver for Domino’s Pizza was delivering an order at 7:37 p.m. to an address in the 300 block of Plum Street that she determined didn’t exist.
A call back to the customer directed her to a home a few doors down the street.
Miller said the delivery driver was driving down an alley looking for the new address when she said two men emerged from behind a tree and flagged her down, saying the order was for them.
When the driver began to exit her vehicle, one of the men pulled out a handgun and put it to her back, ordering her to give them the order.
The men then left, walking northbound down the alley.
Both men were described as black males in their 20s. Miller said the armed suspect stood around 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a purple hooded jacket.
The second suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket.
