DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Tuesday:

Theft in the 800 block of Oak Street.

Wednesday:

A man arrested at the Public Safety Building, 2 E. South St., for possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution.

Burglary and assault in the 100 block of South Buchanan Street.

Theft in the 1000 block of May Street.

A man arrested at Danville High School, 202 E. Fairchild St., on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Theft in the 700 block of North Griffin Street.

Vehicle damaged in the first block of East Main Street.

Reckless driving in the 400 block of North Collett Street.

A woman arrested for criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Jewell Street.

Domestic battery in the 500 block of Jewell Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 3600 block of North Vermilion Street.

A man arrested for retail theft at Walmart Supercenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

A man and a woman arrested each on two counts of burglary at Walmart Supercenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

Burglary in the 1000 block of Clarence Street.

Vermilion County

Wednesday:

Vehicle damage reported at Bismarck High School, Bismarck.

A woman arrested for domestic violence in the 200 block of North Market Street, Hoopeston.

Domestic disturbance along County Road 2750N, Bismarck.

A man arrested for two counts of residential burglary and one count each criminal damage to property and criminal trespassing after two robberies reported in the 1000 block of West Penn Street and one in 800 block of South Sixth Street, Hoopeston.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Monday, 4:19 p.m. — In the 800 block of East Main Street involving Courtney Gibson, 31, of the 1100 block of James Place, and Leah Ann Kegley, 51, of Danville. Gibson was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without insurance.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Wednesday, 8:07-8:19 a.m. — A medical call in the 400 block of Chandler Street.

Wednesday, 12:54-1:08 p.m. — A medical call in the 200 block of East Fairchild Street.

Wednesday, 1:36-1:51 p.m. — A medical call in the 500 block of South Gilbert Street.

Wednesday, 1:58-2:01 p.m. — A false alarm at Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System, 1900 E. Main St.

Wednesday, 7:47-7:58 p.m. — A medical call in the 1200 block of Chandler Street.
