DANVILLE — Provena United Samaritans Medical Center Foundation is asking local schools and businesses to participate in the “It’s All in the Jeans Day” on Oct. 5.

For a $5 contribution, employees and students of participating businesses and schools can purchase the privilege of wearing denim to work or school. If a business matches its employees’ contribution, Country Financial and Old National Bank will “match the match,” essentially tripling the original donation.

All proceeds from the fundraiser remain in the local community to enhance breast programs in Vermilion County, including assisting women in need with preventative exams and durable equipment and more.

“It’s All in the Jeans Day” t-shirts and wristbands are available for purchase through the Foundation and can be ordered by phone or online.

To learn how to get one’s organization involved, or to place orders, call 442-6583, or visit www.provena.org/usmc/jeans.
