DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:



Property damage in the 300 block of West Roselawn Avenue.

Trespassing and disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Davidson Street.

Theft in the 900 block of May Street.


A woman arrested for disorderly conduct in the 2300 block of North Vermilion Street.

Domestic battery in the 3600 block of North Vermilion Street.

A woman arrested for retail theft at Walmart Supercenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

A man arrested for theft at Kmart, 2721 N. Vermilion St.

A man arrested for disorderly conduct in the 400 block of Chandler Street.

Burglary and property damage in the first block of South Griffin Street.

A man arrested for retail theft and criminal trespassing at County Market, 2 E. Main St.

Vermilion County


A woman arrested for possession of another’s credit card at the Public Safety Building, 2 E. South St.

Domestic battery along County Road 900E, Oakwood.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Saturday, 11:50 a.m. At 1610 Meitzler St., Tilton, involving Colton Morris, 18, of Tilton, and Austin Shelton, 16, of Oakwood. Morris was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Monday, 12:35 p.m. In the 1800 block of Gilbert Street involving Rachel Lacombe, 20, of the 500 block of Shadowlawn Place, and Frederick Costigan, 41, of Danville. Lacombe was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Monday, 7:22-7:41 a.m. An illegal burning at 823 Texas Place.

Monday, 9:19-9:23 a.m. A medical call in the 400 block of East Winter Avenue.

Monday, 7:12-7:28 p.m. A medical call in the 2800 block of East Main Street.

Tuesday, 5:48-6:02 a.m. A carbon monoxide check at 1111 Holiday Drive.
