The reunion dates are Aug. 16-18.
Trivia night helps program
Vermilion County Farm Bureau Foundation will host its first “Luau for Learning” Trivia Night on Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 310 Bryan Ave. Doors will open at 7 p.m., with the trivia starting at 7:30 p.m.
Teams of up to eight people will answer general trivia questions on a variety of topics from music to sports and from Vermilion County history to food.
Registration fee: $100 for a table, which equates to $12.50 per person. The top two teams will receive awards. Recognition will be given to the team with the best team spirit.
Funds raised go toward the Ag in the Classroom program. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.vcfb.info.
Businesses that are interested in being an event or round sponsor can contact the Vermilion County Farm Bureau offices at 442-8713.
Attendees are encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts, etc.
Groups plan blood drive
St. James United Methodist Church and Community Blood Services of Illinois will sponsor a blood drive from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 504 N. Vermilion St.
Refreshments will be provided. Walk-ins are welcome. Age 17 is the minimum blood donor age in Illinois or age 16 with a signed parent’s permission slip, which will be available at the church.
Donors should eat a hearty meal before they come and bring a photo ID or Blood Donor’s card. For more details, call the church at 442-1504.

Danville Area Community College’s Community Education division is hosting “Family Connections,” the 33rd annual Developing Child Conference, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 2.
