DANVILLE — Investigators continue to look into the cause of house fire early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the report of a blaze just after midnight Tuesday in a one-story home at 519 Sherman St.
Assistant Fire Chief Duane Hall said the first fire personnel to arrive on scene reported heavy flames at the rear of the home. Firefighters attacked to the flames from the outside to bring the blaze under control.
A cause for the fire has not been determined, Hall said. No injuries were reported.
Damages were estimated at $10,000 to the home itself and $5,000 to the contents inside, Hall said.
