NAACP branch to meet

DANVILLE — The Danville NAACP branch will hold its fall quarterly general membership meeting “A Celebration” at 11 a.m. Saturday at headquarters, 153 N. Vermilion St. (New Directions Treatment Center). All members and guests attending are asked to contribute a small cash donation or non-perishable food items to help fill a holiday gift basket for a family in need.

The local branch is soliciting the support of the community to help increase its membership and work to move the mission and work of the NAACP forward in Danville.
