Danville

Thursday:

Retail theft at Kmart, 2721 N. Vermilion St.

Friday:

Theft reported at Payday Loans, 501 N. Vermilion St.

Saturday:

Theft in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

Theft in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

Sunday:

Disorderly conduct in the 3600 block of North Vermilion Street.

Burglary in the 1100 block of Skyline Drive.

Theft in the 900 block of Fowler Avenue.

Property damage in the first block of Kentucky Avenue.

Disorderly conduct in the 1300 block of West Williams Street.

Property damage in the 300 block of North Franklin Street.

Domestic battery in the 400 block of Commercial Street.

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Griffin and Williams streets.

Domestic battery in the 400 block of North Washington Street.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 1700 block of Glenwood Drive.

Vermilion County

Sunday:

Burglary in the 7700 block of Catlin-Indianola Road, Catlin.

Deceptive practice in the first block of Maplewood Avenue.

Theft in the 100 block of Lyons Road, Belgium.

Forgery and theft reported along County Road 2750N, Bismarck.

A woman arrested for aggravated battery, theft and resisting arrest in the 400 block of East Honeywell Street, Hoopeston.

Aggravated assault and unlawful use of a weapon in the 200 block of East 10th Street, Georgetown.

Burglary along County Road 900E.

Vehicle damaged along County Road 1400E.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 3:29 p.m. — On Bowman Avenue at the Interstate 74 eastbound on-ramp involving Chelsea McGehee, 21, of Covington, Ind., and Tanner Root, 17, of Danville. McGehee was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Thursday, 3:57 p.m. — In the 100 block of Grace Street involving Patricia Wesley, 40, of the 100 block of Wisconsin Avenue. Wesley was cited for improper backing.

Friday, 12:15 a.m. — At Catlin-Homer Road and County Road 920E involving Cory Wade, 33, of Fairmount. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
