DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:



Property damage in the 600 block of East Seminary Street.

Possession of drug paraphernalia in the 300 block of North Bowman Avenue.


Property damage in the 1200 block of Perrysville Road.

Armed robbery and theft in the 300 block of North Franklin Street.


Property damage in the 800 block of Johnson Street.

A man arrested for obstructing justice at Seminary and Washington streets.

Assault in the 400 block of Harmon Street.

A woman arrested for obstructing justice in the 200 block of Clements Street.

Vehicle burglary in the 1200 block of Deerwood Drive.

Vehicle burglary in the 1100 block of Glenwood Drive.

A man arrested for obstructing justice in the 1000 block of East Seminary Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 500 block of Sherman Street.


A man arrested for criminal trespassing in the 1600 block of Beechwood Street.

Vermilion County


Vehicle damaged in the 1800 block of Perrysville Road.


Disorderly conduct at KIK, 1 W. Hegeler Lane.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 4:19 p.m. — At South State and Illinois streets, Westville, involving Donald Reid, 67, of Westville, and Rocky Thornton, 30, of Chrisman. Reid was cited for failure to yield.

Thursday, 7:38 a.m. — At North Gilbert and Voorhees streets involving Maxwell Byerly, 16, of the 1600 block of North Gilbert Street, and Marti Fries, 53, of Danville. Byerly was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.

Thursday, 2:42 p.m. — At Bowman Avenue and Holiday Drive involving Guillermo Martinez Jr., 19, of the 1600 block of Eastview Avenue, and Debra Hale, 58, of Danville. Martinez was cited for failure to yield and driving without insurance.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 7:43-7:56 a.m. — A medical call in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Thursday, 11:19 a.m.-12:07 p.m. — A gas leak at 706 May St.

Thursday, 12:38-1 p.m. — An accident with injuries in the 1000 block of Lynch Spur.

Thursday, 3:20-3:49 p.m. — A gasoline in the roadway as a result of an accident at North Vermilion and Voorhees streets.

Thursday, 3:24-3:38 p.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Thursday, 7:16-7:48 p.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of Bremer Street.

Thursday, 7:54-8:13 p.m. — A medical call in the 1600 block of Edgewood Drive.

Thursday, 10:55-11:05 p.m. — A medical call in the 900 block of Giddings Street.
