DANVILLE —

Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Incidents reported to police include:

Danville

Wednesday:

Residential burglary in the 200 block of Delaware Street.

Thursday:

Disorderly conduct in the unit block of Stroup Street.

Deceptive practice at Wal-Mart, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

Illegal dumping in the 1000 block Moore Street.

Criminal damage in the 13000 block of Hawbuck

Criminal trespassing in the 1600 block of Chandler Street.

Burglary to vehicle in the 1000 block of North Vermilion Street.

Telephone harassment in the 100 block of Grace Street.

Friday:

Criminal damage to vehicle in the 100 block of North Franklin Street.

Vermilion County

Thursday:

Possession of meth and two counts of forgery in 1000 block of Penn Street, Hoopeston.

Domestic battery in the 11000 block of County Road 1800 E, Ridge Farm.

 

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 7:29 a.m. – At Main Street and Logan Avenue, involving Nicole A. Reffett, 26, of the 6000 block of County Road 1200 N, Fairmount, and Lynda K. Blazaitis, 63, of Westville. Reffett was cited for failure to yield at intersection.

Thursday, 11:07 a.m. – At Griffin and Knox streets, involving Stanley D. Porter, 22, of the 1200 block of Crawford Street, and Eric Quick, 44, of Danville. Porter was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Wednesday, 11:59 a.m. – At Jackson and Ridgeview streets, involving Angela M. Link, 26, of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Julie A. Ritter, 47, of the 2800 block of Townway, Danville. Link was cited for failure to yield and Ritter was cited for having an expired registration.

Tuesday, 5:18 p.m. – At State Route 1 and Interstate 57, involving Stanley J. Broderick, 73, of 100 block of Martin Court, Catlin. Broderick was cited for DUI and illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by a driver.
