Train to become advocate

DANVILLE — Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Vermilion County is offering the 30-hour child advocacy pre-service course for Court-Appointed Special Advocates.

All CASA volunteers are required to attend pre-service training. There are 15 hours of online coursework and 15 hours of in-class coursework.

Classes will take place from 5-8 p.m. Thursdays in the Danville Township building, 101 W. North St. Classes will take place through May 30.
