Club takes summer sign-ups

DANVILLE — The Boys & Girls Club of Danville is taking sign-ups for its summer session.

The session starts June 10 and goes through Aug. 16.

Parents can come into the club at 850 N. Griffin St. to sign up their children.

The club is taking ages 6-18 and the cost for the whole summer session is $175 per member. If there are multiple children in the immediate family, the additional cost is $125 per additional child.

The hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with available early drop-off at 7:45 a.m. and late pickup by 6 p.m. The additional cost per family for early drop-off or late pick-up is $50.

The fees must be paid in full by the start of the summer session in order to guarantee the member’s spot.

The club provides five core programs during the summer: character and leadership development; educational and career development; health and life skills; recreation/fitness/sports; and the arts.

The club also will have weekly swimming opportunities, outdoor activities and field trips available during the summer program.
