NEWPORT, Ind. —
Purdue Extension will offer a two-day “Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing” workshop from 9 a.m. EDT to 4 p.m. EDT March 29 and April 19 at the Vermillion County Courthouse.
The two-day workshop is intended to be a skill builder for the beginner or intermediate grant writer. Those attending are encouraged to come with an idea. They will leave the first day with a proposal outline and all of the necessary resources to expand that outline into a full proposal.
On the second day, participants returning with completed proposals will be placed in the role of a reviewer and will learn strategies for finding funding. They will also have the opportunity to polish their proposals.
Participants have received more than $6 million in funding after attending the workshop.
There is a cost for the workshop, and lunch will be provided both days. Go to http://www.purdue.edu/grantwriting to register.
