DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:


Nov. 22:

Tools taken in the 600 block of Warrington Avenue.


Hoover carpet cleaner broken at Sunset Cove Apartments, 2200 N. Vermilion St.

Theft of Christmas ornaments in the 200 block of Edwards Street.


Theft off 1235 North Road.

Prowler in the 500 block of Grant Street.

Burglary in the 1500 block of East Fairchild Street.

Shots fired reported in the 1100 block of North Franklin Street.

Tampering with mail reported. No other information was given.


Armed robbery in the 900 block of North Vermilion Street.

Vermilion County


Forgery reported at the United Community Bank, 106 S. Oakwood Road, Oakwood. The complainant reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill.

Identification theft in the 200 block of Lee Street in Oakwood.

Theft off 2600 North Road in Potomac.

Theft of a package on Poland Road in Bismarck.


Criminal trespass to a residence in the 300 block of West 13th Street in Georgetown.

Hoopeston female arrested in connection with retail theft in the 700 block of South Chicago Street in Rossville.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 1:16 p.m.At Georgetown Road and Southgate Drive involving John P. McFall, 67, of Clinton, Ind., and Terry W. Bryant, 61, of Danville. McFall was ticketed for improper backing and leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage.

Thursday, 11:47 a.m.At East Main Street and Bowman Avenue involving Tatiana R. Cundiff, 19, of Westville, and Melinda L. Nalett, 49, of Danville. Cundiff was ticketed for improper lane usage.

Thursday, 11:53 a.m. - 2:02 p.m.Medical call in the 2700 block of Townway Road.

Thursday, 1:56-2:07 p.m.Investigation in the 600 block of North Jackson Street.
