DANVILLE — Three teenagers are being sought in connection with the evening robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Holiday Hills.

Police officers responded just after 7:45 p.m. Monday to a report of an armed robbery outside 930 Blueridge Drive.

Danville Police Sgt. Joshua Campbell said a Papa John’s Pizza delivery driver was walking up to the home when he was approached by three teenagers. One displayed a handgun and demanded the driver’s money as well as the pizzas.

The three fled on foot south from the scene and, as they were running away, Campbell said, a shot was fired. No one was injured by the shot.

Campbell said the residents at 930 Blueridge Dr. were unaware of the delivery order or the incident.

The three are described as black males in their late teens.

One stood 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed 130 pounds while the other two were 5 feet 7 inches tall and around 145 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Vermilion County Crime Stoppers at 446-TIPS (8477).
