DANVILLE — The Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate a home invasion at a rural address north of Danville.
The sheriff’s department responded to the reported home invasion at 12:47 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Investigations Sgt. Bill Hurt would not release the address of the single-family residence, due to the ongoing investigation.
He reported that there were minor injuries involved in the incident and a vehicle was stolen and later recovered in Danville.
There have been no arrests.
Rumors about school lock downs and the post office being robbed in Bismarck are not true, Hurt confirmed.
