DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:



Property damage in the 300 block of North Crawford Street.

Domestic battery and theft at Collett and Seminary streets.

Disorderly conduct reported at Prairie Center, 128 N. Vermilion St.

Theft and property damage in the 300 block of Harmon Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Clements Street.


Unlawful use of a weapon in the 800 block of Hillside Drive.

Theft in the 3500 block of North Vermilion Street.

Domestic battery in the 1300 block of East English Street.

Theft in the 1400 block of East English Street.

Burglary in the 1600 block of Clyman Court.

$35 in fuel stolen at Casey’s General Store, 845 E. Voorhees St.

Theft in the 1600 block of Edgewood Drive.

Disorderly conduct and trespassing in the 1100 block of East Voorhees Street.

Burglary and retail theft at B and J Music, 3232 N. Vermilion St.

Disorderly conduct in the first block of Bremer Street.

A man arrested for obstructing justice in the 500 block of Sager Street.

Forgery reported at Walgreen’s, 400 W. Fairchild St.

Burglary in the 1100 block of Grant Street.


Domestic battery in the first block of North Alexander Street.

Vermilion County


Two men arrested for disorderly conduct in the 400 block of West West Street, Georgetown. One also was charged with battery.

A man arrested for domestic battery and obstructing justice in the 9600 block of Camp Drake Road.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Tuesday,  1:30 a.m. On Sidell-Indianola Road near County Road 600E involving Theodore Henkleman, 17, of Sidell. He was cited for improper lane usage and driving without insurance. He was taken to Provena United Samarians Medical Center for treatment.

Tuesday, 3:09 p.m. At Seminary and Walnut streets involving Leatha Barragree, 72, of Rossville, and Billy Seldomridge, 61, of Danville. Barragree was cited for failure to yield. She was taken to Provena United Samaritans Medical Center for treatment.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Tuesday, 3:10-3:36 p.m. A traffic accident with entrapment at Seminary and Walnut streets.

Tuesday, 9:47-9:57 p.m. A medical call in the 1500 block of Valleyview.
