Retail theft at Meijer, 3649 N. Vermilion St.

Disorderly conduct in the 1100 block of Harmon Street.

Theft in the 500 block of South Bowman Avenue.

Possession of a controlled substance in the 1100 block of Winter Avenue.

A man arrested for possession of cannabis at Center and Grant streets.

Theft and property damage in the 700 block of Section Street.


Theft of fuel at Mobile Super Pantry, 1212 N. Bowman Ave.

Possession of cannabis at English and Hazel streets.

Battery in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Retail theft at Phillips 66, 2602 N. Vermilion St.

Domestic battery in the 400 block of West Columbia Street.

Retail theft at 801 N. Vermilion St.

Attempted armed robbery in the 100 block of National Avenue.

Battery at Jackson and Cherry streets.

A man arrested for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon in the 900 block of Hubbard Lane.

A man arrested for battery in the first block of North Collett Street.

Possession of drug paraphernalia in the first block of South Bowman Avenue.

A man arrested for domestic battery and violating an order of protection in the 2100 block of Logan Terrace II.


Aggravated battery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Vermilion County


A man and a woman arrested for domestic battery in the 100 block of East 14th Street, Tilton.

Home invasion in the 300 block of Whittier Street, Georgetown.

Vehicle damaged in the 16200 block of East Clingan Lane, Westville.

Property damage at Olmstead and Collett streets, Oakwood.


A man arrested for obstructing justice in the 300 block of Ohio Street, Westville.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Tuesday, 3:43 p.m. — In the 2700 block of North Vermilion Street involving James Grissom, 64, of Indianola; David Bibb, 71, of the 15500 block of Riverwood Estate Drive; and Dolores Toole, 72, of Danville. Grissom was cited for failure to reduce speed while Bibb was cited for driving without insurance.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Tuesday, 10:15-10:27 a.m. — A medical call in the 700 block of May Street.

Tuesday, 6:31-6:44 p.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of Edwards Street.
